Improving Aspect Software's Cloud NOC Predictive Problem Identification

Aspect's fully-integrated solution unifies the most important facets of modern contact management: Self-service, interaction management, workforce optimization and enterprise reporting

Problem:


Aspect's Cloud NOC has not helped much in monitoring environments. Each time a customer reports an issue, it is considered as an SLA violation and the company needs to pay a penalty. The main focus was to reduce the SLA payouts.

Solution:


  • Developed a solution that evaluates historical alert data to predict/forecast a potential issue in cloud environment.

  • Captured alert data on cloud and hosted products.

  • Used Power BI to analyze the data

  • Used numerous algorithms on the processed data

  • Based on accuracy, Decision Tree was the best choice in this case.

  • Were able to achieve 80% accuracy by varying parameters.

Result:


  • Most Likely: Achieving 20% reduction in SLA payouts saving the company up to $52,800 a year.


  • Optimistic: Achieving 50% reduction in SLA payouts saving the company up to $412,800 a year.
